ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

IMPORTANT POINTS TO CONSIDER DURING ABSTRACT SUBMISSION AND SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Abstracts must be submitted online through the abstract submission system available on the congress website. Abstracts submitted independently via e-mail or regular mail will not be accepted. Papers to be presented at the congress should be in the form of experimental studies, clinical studies, or original case reports that contribute to scientific advancement and provide a clear conclusion. Since abstracts submitted online will be published exactly as received, particular attention should be paid to spelling and typographical errors. Authors are solely responsible for any such errors.

Guidelines for Abstract Preparation

• Abstracts will be collected through the online abstract submission system.
• Academic titles should not be used in the author names.
• Author names should be written in lowercase letters, with only the first letter capitalized.
• The names and addresses of the authors’ affiliated institutions must be clearly indicated.
• Only the first letter of the abstract title should be capitalized (abbreviations are exempt from this rule).
• If abbreviations are used in the abstract, the full term should be provided in parentheses at first mention.
• The objective of the study and the methods used should be stated briefly; findings should be summarized with sufficient numerical detail, and conclusions should be clearly presented based on the reported results.
• Research abstracts should consist of the sections “Objective,” “Materials and Methods,” “Results,” and “Conclusion.”
• Case reports should consist of the sections “Introduction,” “Case Presentation,” and “Conclusion.”
• The abstract text, excluding the title and the authors’ names and surnames, must not exceed 500 words.
• Any abstract that does not comply with these requirements will be excluded from evaluation regardless of its scientific content.

Evaluation of Abstracts

Abstracts will be evaluated online by the Abstract Review Committee under a blinded review process in which the authors’ names, surnames, and institutional affiliations will remain confidential. Notification of acceptance or rejection will be sent to all submitting authors.

PRESENTATION INFORMATION

Oral Presentations

When preparing oral presentation slides, please ensure that:

• Each slide contains no more than seven lines.
• Each line contains no more than six words.
• Slides are prepared in landscape orientation.
• Excessively large tables are avoided.
• Slides are prepared in Turkish.

The allotted presentation time is 5 minutes for presentation and 2 minutes for discussion.

Poster Presentations

Poster presentations submitted to the congress will be published as electronic posters (e-posters). The e-poster submission guidelines are available within the abstract submission system. Detailed publication and presentation instructions will be provided to the authors of accepted poster presentations.
